Globalization is the growth to a global or worldwide scale; the globalization of the communication and gods industry. In other words, it is the way goods are traded around
the worlds to create profit for many large corporations. Globalization has been the reason why we have so many clothes to chose from or foods to eat or furniture to put in
our homes. It makes life a little more enjoyable. But what about people with small business or those who suffer the hard labor of making millions of the same product
each year. We see this idea of globalization as the key to our problem of how we receive our goods but little do people know what their beloved possession go through
just t get to them. Globalization connects to my Fire Project topic because most factories in the Unites States are supplied with coal and fuels from many other countries.
Although power plants create energy, it has negative impacts on the health of Americans and people living in the area where the power plants are located..
The idea of goods being traded to benefit different countries is a smart idea and creates unity within countries that participate in it. But still, this concept overlooks
its negative outcomes. How people work for almost 24 hours a day and receive less than a minimum wage and work in hazardous environments. The ones who are
impacted the most are never really taken care of. Many of those affected are children who have to chose between taking on a job to help their parents support the family or
go to school and receive an education. Many people, including these young children in foreign countries have to work in a factory because it is the only place to earn
wages.
