Action Reflection Journal Entries

My goal this week: To speak with a member of the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO) and take down some useful information on what they do in the Little Village community and how they have influenced the minds of young people and what they want to do in life.
Challenges I faced :I had to contact a member of LVEJO over the internet and make a call to a friend who i know and is active in the program to this day.His Name is Ruben Garza and he has been a member for about 2 years now.He also has made a few stops here at Social Justice with other LVEJO member.
What i have learned about taking action: What i learned is that the community members are still active to this day and more people contine to join the cause of LVEJO and putting an end to this social injustice. We have seen progress made from LVEJo and talking to them really helped me through out my fire project and they have created awareness which is key to putting
Next steps: my next step in taking action is to join LVEJO cause and see what i can do do help and see how i can make a diffrence in this community and to see what i can do to impact other communities in a positive way.it has to start with my neighborhood the Little Village community and spreading the knowledge to people and opening there minds to the effects air pollution has on them and other communities that deal with the same issue of environmental racism.
